About Living By ALFA
An innovative housing concept with the ambition of rethinking how people live and reside today.
Rethinking urban and residential development
At ALFA Development, it is our ambition to be at the forefront of developing new urban and living concepts that fulfil the needs and aspirations of current and future generations.
We base our concept development on thorough research, customer dialogue, trend analyses and inspiration from abroad. We test concepts in practice and adapt projects to specific locations.
Our first Living By ALFA with 160 apartments opened in 2023. The next one in Søborg Skovby is scheduled for opening in 2027, offering 250 apartments. And more Living By ALFA projects are in the planning phase.
Our approach
Asking the right questions – finding the way forward.
We combine Danish culture and tradition with international perspectives. We collaborate with anthropologists, sociologists, sustainability specialists and other relevant experts to integrate the latest knowledge into the development of new urban and living concepts.
We have the courage to ask fundamental questions: Could we live smaller, share more and still live well? How can we offer more service, while keeping an affordable rent? How can we make room for nature? What does it take to create thriving communities?
Finding the answers means exploring, testing and refining innovative living concepts in practice. This is what we do with Living By ALFA, constantly evolving to meet contemporary lifestyles.
How do we do things differently?
ALFA Development
We know that cities, neighborhoods and homes shape people’s lives. As developers we have a huge responsibility.
We don’t just build but ask the customers what they want and how we can help them fulfil their dreams of a good life.
We are a family-owned business, which allows us to think and act long-term. We create neighborhoods where people love to live not just today, but also tomorrow.
Our mindset is international, bringing the best from abroad to our projects in the Nordics and the best from the Nordics into the world.
We are a young company with solid experience. Since 2006, we have developed modern neighborhoods and homes in metropolitan areas like Copenhagen and Aarhus.
Living By ALFA is our flagship. An innovative living concept that challenges conventions and rethinks how people live today and tomorrow.
