Always tailored
Living By ALFA is never a standard concept, but a guiding philosophy shaped by its surroundings. With residents at the center, each project is tailored through in-depth research, dialogue with local communities, planning frameworks and the latest living trends.
So far, Living By ALFA has been introduced in two locations: first in IrmaByen in Rødovre in 2023, next in Søborg Skovby in Gladsaxe, expected to open in 2027.

The history of Living By ALFA
The development of Living By ALFA has been going on for almost a decade – and is still evolving with every new project.
In the late teens, when the concept was still in the ideation phase, we performed a series of in-depth analyses to lay the foundations for an innovative rental community that made everyday life easier, smarter and more valuable for the residents.
We analyzed some of the mega trends within the real estate industry to clarify what trends were particularly present in Denmark - and worldwide - at the moment. To ensure that the concept was developed from a customer-centric perspective, we complemented this overall analysis with in-depth target group analyses. We created a number of personas, analyzed their demographics, the essentials in their personal wellbeing, their typical day, found their pain points and analyzed their needs and desires to quality our future residents and their living preferences.
In this way, the LIVING BY ALFA concept was created as a solution to the pain points of the target group and as a response to some of today's mega trends to discover how people wish to live today and tomorrow.
We used this comprehensive pool of knowledge to develop our first Living By ALFA estate in IrmaByen in Rødovre. The concept immediately resounded with potential customers, and since its opening in 2023, Living By ALFA has been fully let with a substantial waiting list. The annual customer survey among residents conveys a high satisfaction score, testifying to the viability and appeal of the Living By ALFA concept, which combines private living with a vibrant sense of community.
The next Living By ALFA is scheduled for opening in Søborg Skovby, Gladsaxe, in 2027, offering 250 modern and affordable homes and community living close to metropolitan Copenhagen.
We never doubt that we have found a strong competitive formula with Living By ALFA. Our living concept has a strong appeal to both residents, municipalities and partners, encouraging us to take the concept further and keep on raising the standard for how we live.
